2012 4720h branson no start

i am having some electical issues with my 2012 4720h. used it day before, went to hop on and start, the start sylonoid clicked a few times and then the whole thing went dead. now, no lights on dash, nothing when key is turned to on position, and no crank. battery is good, i have voltage to starter. I am guessing its some safety switch somewhere but have no idea where it could be. all fuses good, cleaned fuse block. did not see any signs of problems on key switch. any ideas or a wiring diagram handy?

A safety switch would still let everything turn on but just wouldn't let the starter turn the engine.

I suspect you have a bad ground somewhere. You may want to follow the ground from the battery and check the connections. Pull them out and clean even if looks good.

On my Branson, the ground goes from the battery negative post to the right side of the engine block, then a smaller ground wire goes for that same bolt to the dashboard area.

good point. started at the battery and cleaned every connection I could find, seemed to fix it up.
