did they ever put a anclosure on the deisels yet? are they still talkin about it?

Tommy, not as of yet. Last time I talked to the gator guys they said that engine had too much vibration to give it a solid enclosure that would hold up. I suggested a full rubber or something like it for an enclosure. The diesel has too much torque I believe to make it feasable. Mabey some day. Reliability is usually number one concern and everything else falls into second place. They have added a little shield for the parking brake to try to keep a little mud out of it but thats it.

On that note. they said good things are coming for the gator. So we'll wait and see.

i wish my dealer or someone close to me had one and would let me have at it. when you talked about vibrations i figured something out for a enclosure but a demo or pattern makin deisel unit is needed. but i bet i can put an enclosure on a deisel xuv or hpx.i'm about 95% sure i can.lol

If I ever figure out how to use my sons video camera I'd post a video of it at idle so you can see what I mean. Does your local dealer have anyone that they are freindly with that might give it up for a week end? Might be worth a shot. We have a guy behind our dealership that got one and is into all that cutom stuff. I know he would LOVE a belt enclosure so he can play in deeper mud.

i asked the dealer and they won't give out names of the customers . about my only chance is to have a run in with one at the dealer one day when we are both buying parts and i can ask them one on one. i'm sure they would do it for a free enclosure . i'm about to get the fenders started i'm running late on them they should come out nice .
