2008 era side panel rubber hold downs

I get a little annoyed at these. Whether outside or in barn when parked for a few days I open the hood (mice). When it comes time to use tractor and close hood a few of these have opened up. I keep thinking someday a clever simple fix will hit me. Brain: Not gonna happen today.

I don't know what's going on here, but you have my sympathy anyhow.

When I had a tractor with those I replaced them as the broke by making them out of a thick chunk of plastic or PVC . I don't know if there's a source for it handy in your area.
