I just purchased a 2007 TC30. Its in great shape and only has 300 Hrs. on it. I was using it yesterday and adjusted the seat. Now when I put it in gear and release the clutch it just sits there and won't move. If I change speeds and select a different gear it will start to roll and then stop. The engine RPMs never change. There was no grinding of the gears or fluid leaks, it just won't move. Any suggestions ?

Sure you didn't bump the range lever? My 2120 is touchy about that lever's position.

No. It will only move if I change the range lever and then change gears. It will move a little but then stop. I change the gear and it rolls a little. Change the gear or range and it rolls a little. There is no grinding sounds or anything. It just refuses to move.

I have no idea. I'm thinking the clutch freeplay is the problem. I won't be home again until Friday so I will adjust it then and try it out.

I removed the plug on the case to view the clutch and it moves back and forth to the limits of the adjustment bolt. The bolt appears to never have been adjusted. There is nothing obviously wrong. There was some material stuck in it. Something like a graphite gasket type material. It still won't move when put in gear and the clutch is released.

"Material stuck" in where?
"Graphite gasket type material" - Could that be your clutch plate friction lining?

Sounds about right. There is also a gap between the plates. I can get a steel rule in there with the clutch pedal released. I'm thinking there shouldn't be a gap at all with the pedal released.

Sadly correct, I think.

How much freeplay to you have at the pedal?
