2007 MF 3645 with 360 hours. Tractor has sat for a week without being used. Started tractor and shifted into high, 1st, and tried to move the synchroshift lever to forward and it would not go. It would not go into reverse. Let the tractor run in neutral for 15 minutes thinking the fluids needed to be circulated. Still not able to move the lever. Turned the tractor off and tried again. Nothing.
Test #1
Started tractor in neutral. Shifted the synchroshift lever in forward. Then shifted in high, then tried to shift to 1st but wouldn't go into gear.
Test #2
Started tractor in neutral. Shifted into low. Then shifted into 1st. Then forced synchroshift lever into forward. The tractor moved forward. However, when I tried to use the clutch it would not kick the tractor into neutral. I had to pull the synchroshift lever into neutral.
Test #3
Shifted the synchroshift lever into forward with the other gears in neutral. Tried to start tractor. It would not start. (my thinking was I needed to test the neutral switch)
All fluids look good. No warning lights on the dash are on. Could this be a clutch adjustment issue or is the clutch frozen?
Thanks,
Ryan
