( If Kubota had a
B7610 sized TLB that was more along the lines of the
BX23 /
B21 I would have probably gone for that over the
BX23 I ended up getting. The major thing that turned me off to a
B7510/
B7610 sized tractor was that the backhoe hung so far off the back of the tractor vs the BX. The
B21 specs say that there is a 20 or 21 degree angle of of departure and the BX I think has something similar. The 7610 with either the Kubota or Woods backhoe hanging off the back does not have this. The BX and
B21 style 4 point backhoe hookup makes for very easy swaps between backhoe and 3pt implements. If they put a 4pt mount backhoe on a
B7610, put a swivel seat and more spacious ROPS like the
BX23, and put a quick attach setup on the FEL bucket I would trade in my
BX23 in a heartbeat. And make sure the backhoe has at least a 7ft dig depth too. )
I believe when Kubota replaced the
B2710 and
B2910 with the
B2630 and
B3030, they replaced the 3 point backhoe with a 4 point. It seems that the smaller b-series line is due for rev, and we can always hope they'll do the same for it, along with coming out with a "luxury" model with position control and deluxe seat (to replace the no longer produced
B2410).
