2004 John Deere 4310 price

Hi,

I've started to look for a backhoe for my yard (and maybe for some side work in the future), it's only 1/2 acre but there are a number of projects it would be helpful for. I found what looks like (on the surface) a really good deal on a 31 hp Deere tractor with backhoe, please see attached. I don't have enough saved right now to buy it but figured I could get some feedback if I see what looks like could be a good deal. Thanks,

Sure looks like it. But I can't find any other CL ads like that in other cities, which is the usual give away.

Thank you for the follow up, the price didn't seem low enough to be an obvious CL fake. I did send the seller an email, I'll post if I hear back.

Initially I'm looking for a compact TLB for future projects around the house (yard grading, ripping out old driveway, prepping for new driveway, grading / prepping for new garage, ripping out old bushes, etc.). I'd also like to make some side money doing yard / athletic field / etc. grading and turf work. I was thinking a 25 - 35 hp TLB with box blade (maybe laser grader in the future) would help me get into that kind of work. In my area, everyone and their brother has a skid steer, but not as many operate a tractor with box blade, so I think there's some opportunity with the right networking. Any feedback is much appreciated, thanks!

Finally got a response from the seller. They are "a dealer in Texas".

Wonder why they have a CL ad in Maine? They want my email address.

yeah i replied to a kubota ad in MD. got the same response. it's a scam i'm sure but for what i have no idea.

You'd have to take it further to figure out their angle. It isn't like the old days where "I'm selling it for my sister, who is deployed and got the tractor when her husband died. It's in storage at our shippers location. You can pay with amazon, and when you happily recieve the tractor you can release the funds".

I got the same exact email response today. I'll pass on further inquiry, sounds like a scam.
