2004 JD 4310 hydraulic fluid foaming

2004 JD 4310 hydraulic fluid foams while using hot or cold weather. when you push on pedal to move forward, it hesitates. Also the front loader is jerky and any rpm. i was trying to plow the snow off the drive and would start to move then seem like it ran out of power to move , so i stoped and went backwards with no problem
any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated

Somewhere the system is sucking air. The problem will most likely be on the suction side of the hydraulic circuit. For the FEL check the rubber boot from the transmission housing to the hydraulic pumps on the left hand side of the engine just in front of the starter. One pump is for the power steering and the other is for the hydraulics. Also check to make sure the bolts holding the hydraulic oil filter inside the transmission are snug enough to prevent leaks.

As far as the hydrostatic transmision issues go I have no advice other than to make sure there are no issues that are mentioned above.

Thanks for the info and will check the areas for any possible air leak.
I did replace the screen in the transmission / suction line . old one was very dirty even after washing out. It also had some small hole in the screen around filter, and replaced fluid

Also check the fluid level.
