2003 Kubota 7510 - Temp Gauge

Hi All,

I just purchased a used 7510 Kubota. For the age and hours (less the 100), the machine is in great shape. One of the problems I've discovered is that the temperature guage seems to be not working. Or the machine runs extremely cool. How do I check to see if the temp element or gauge is bad? The fuse is good. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I used to have this problem with my BX too. I found that the wire that attaches to the sensor on the engine would wiggle loose a little. I can't think of the name for the wire ends, but it was the female end on the wire to the male end on the sensor. I kinda squeezed them together and haven't had an issue since. My temp sensor is on the front left side of the engine. Sorry I know you have a B not a BX but hopefully this helps.

I think you will find that the tractor runs extremely cool. It takes an awful lot of work to make mine heat up, and even then, it only heats up to about 1/3.

I agree. I had a 7410 and even after brushhogging thick tall grass is the 100 degree summer heat the needle would hardly budge off cold.

Agreed. My B runs as cool as a center seed of a cucumber.

Thanks for the input. Yall are correct, this machine runs extremely cool. Once you put a load on the engine, it finally moves somewhat. Amazing.
