2002 John Deere 790 Compact Tractor

The fuel gauge and temperature gauge aren't working on my 2002 John Deere 790 Compact Tractor. I discovered a mouse nest under the dash. The only damage I can see is on a red wire from the voltage regulator. Any ideas?

Possible the damage to the red wire caused a fuse to blow?

Fuses are all good.
