2001 Bobcat 331

Hi, 2001 bobcat 331 excavator , hose that operates boom swing burst, it’s the hose that operated the cylinder under the floor plates. Replaced hose, bled cylinder , now the boom will not swing left to right, everything else operates as it should . First time owner and I’m stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure, but may have to bleed the pilot line for the swing valve or the swing line itself, although most cylinder circuits will bleed themselves

I've got a 2002 Bobcat 331 and have a leaking hose for the boom swing cylinder. Did you have to remove the seat and controls in order to access the cylinder? I've removed the floor plate several times, to diagnose the leaking hose. Wondering if there is an easy way to access the hose ends of the cylinder that are under the seat. Thanks. Tim
