I will have 105,000 miles in a few weeks on the van. Maintenance manual says replace the timing belt, tune up, and fluid change ( transmission, engine, brake) at 105K. I am thinking about changing the water pump since they have to remove it I am told to replace the belt,. Do you think I should change the spark plug wires and accessory belts? Anything else I should do? Perhaps radiator hoses? I will have the work done at a garage so I know this will cost more, then again this is our only car and I want it to last. I hope to get another 100K out of the van.
Also how far over the 105,000 can you go before having the timeing belt service? Going on vacation and will be close if not past 105,000 miles when done.
Anyone have any Honda repair boards they visit and can suggest?
Thanks for your help.
