When turning the ignition key to the glow plug position, the countdown screen on the left goes to the hours screen while the glow plug light by the ignition continuously blinks. Any suggestions?

push and hold the headlight button (hold for codes) and read the code. The code should give a hint to whether there is an open circuit or short to ground.
