Based on an earlier discussion I am considering a two spindle rotary cutter for my 4710. The reason to go that way is to limit the overall length and keep some maneuverability. Bush hog makes a model 84T light duty 7 foot cutter and a model 278 medium duty 8 footer. Any experience with these? Any other brands to consider? They all seem expensive - the cheapest I can find a regular old Deere MX-6 out here is $2400. The Bush Hog 84T is only about $200 more and is 3 or more feet shorter.

Go with bhog 7 foot med duty You will not regret the b hog it is a lot heavier duty mower than JD "Medium Duty" 7 foot. Trust me on this Our 8 foot md b hog is twice the mower the deere is.
