Planters 2 Row Planter

Hi all,I ran across a company " Myron Graber Planters"out of Secor Ill. They will make any size planter for me.Anyone heard of this company?If i do order one ( 2 row )any,ideas on how it should be made,as in planter row width ,36",30" ect..I know theres alot of knowledge out there ,so any help would certainly would be appreciated.

Did a google search for them on the web and couldn't find anything on the planter. So I can't say much there. If I had more time I am sure I could find something on the web. But setting the row at 36" seems high to me. Some of the corn packs I had this year told me to not go any wider than 30" for proper pollination. So I planted at 36" anyway by mistake??? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif We'll see how it turns out.

People can talk about the pros and cons of row width forever, but for what we are doing, hobby farming, you need to look at the practical side of it. How wide are your tires, center to center?

If they are 40" then you can use 20"rows
If they are 48" then you can use 24" rows
If they are 60" then you can use 30" rows
If they are 72" then you can use 36" rows

Of courese it can work with other multiples of these but the your tire spacing must be matched to your tire width or else you are going to be running over rows that you already planted.
