Ok, I'm looking at a PT. Is there a way to put a 2" ball hitch on one and have it raise and lower with the hydraulics? I have to move a lot of boat trailers and such. It would be great to just swoop in under the hitch and pick up the tongue and drive off. Front mount would be great. rear mount would still be OK.

You can buy this one from the factory, or make your own...

Just buy an extra quick attach plate and weld a 2" receiver tube to it with some bracing. Then you can add a ball hitch or many other 2" attachements. Search the PT forum for "reciever" and see all the hits you get.

Or, if it is not in your budget, buy the pallet forks, as they are cheap and usefull. Then drill a hole near the end so that you can mount a ball on it when needed.

If you click on the link below and scroll down to the second from the bottom post, you will see one I had made with a spare attachment plate. I'm still making plug in attachments for it, and so far it has worked great. ;)

I use my PT for launching and retriving my boat. It works great. Much easier than with my truck.

I do that to. I really like that landing pad you have there. Great Idea. Grab that rope before you launch though. LOL
