...and I plowed a bunch of driveways with my new BX2360 and a 4' TW rear blade. Never done anything like this before. It seemed to work pretty well if I pulled the snow forward, then reversed the blade and pushed the piles out the way as a cleanup.

What a machine!

PS I need some snow chains ASAP.
PPS I hesitated to label this weather event a 'storm' :)

I'm feeling left out now...:(

If you even think of needing chains you should go ahead and get them. Chains for tractors are not something you pick up at NTB or Lowes.

After the third major storm last winter I came back from travel to my ride "buried" in the back yard with about 2' plus of heavy snow to get thru with some tight maneuvering. My turfs were of no help. I got stuck.

I've got chains on it now, plus I'll be able to use them in the Mississippi woods.

If you dont have blacktop driveway, you might want to get chains for rears. I plow with no chains on both blacktop and lawn with turfs, no problems. I might add that my rears ar loaded and they help. I used to plow with my backblade and found when going forward, it helps to have more weight, as much you can add to rear. What I did was I had chains for logging and tiedown on my trailer and used that as weight. I wrapped all the chains I had right onto the backblade frame. When the BX starts spinning, I just lift the backblade a bit and I gain nearly instant traction. I have chains, but I don't use them in snow anymore since I am not all that hilly.

I am putting off chains in favor of adding wheel weights. Sounds like they should do the trick.

I have a 2230 and used the loader to clean off my driveway of about 2.5 in, my turfs are loaded and it slipped a bit on my incline but was nice to be able to put the snow where I wanted it, I just got my chains but figured I would only need them if we got an excessive amount of snow, but overall very happy with the job it did !
