I have the oppurtunity to buy a MF 2675 for around 6,000.00. The tractor is at a local dealer. In side it pretty worn howver they told me that the tractor has not been used in a couple years. Before that the owner put some 14K into the tractor however they have no receipts to back this up. Also the tractor shows 7200 hours on the tach and the dealer said since the engine was redone they only have about 300 hours on it. My question is are these tractors well built because i read they had some tranny issues. Also what do I need to look for while checking the tractor out. This is my first big tractor and will be used for tillage. Is this a good deal or should i keep looking? Any insight would be extremely helpful. I also have to oppurtunity to buy a John Deere 4020 non power shift and power shift for aroun 8 or 9 thousand. Both with motors that were just rebuilt. Thanks!
