1974 JD 310 A no hydraulics

Two splits possible, forward of shift levers or behind shift levers.
You want to do the first if you are after the clutch, same as TX Jim says between engine and clutch housing

I have a JD 2030 I need to replace the clutch housing on later when it warms up.

Hello again thanks for the help guys. It turns out my problem was a broken clutch disk, all the spring broke away from it and we're laying in a pile at the bottom of the clutch housing .here are a few pics it was actually easier to accomplish than I thought.
