OK, before I ask the question, get your laughing over.:laughing: I just bought a 1970 Ford 3000, with a three cylinder gas engine. Looking forward to working it.
Here's the question: Where in the world is the filler tube to add oil? Have looked high and low, literally.
(See, I told you that you would laugh.) Can you help me?

Engine oil?
Two possible positions:
On the valve cover on top of engine

On the engine's front cover, right side of engine

I borrowed a picture from Ford Tractor Engines :

It is a diesel, but the filler cap is on the same spot as on your gas engine.
The earlier position was integrated with the breather pipe (angled pipe) on the valve cover

No one is laughing. You probably expect the filler cap to be on top of engine, as it normally is.

Thanks, hakan. It was on the top right side of the engine. BUT, you have to pull out the battery
to get to the oil fill cap. Wow! But the mystery is solved nevertheless.
Thanks again.
