My Case loader / backhoe runs great but the boom slowly drops. Is it called boom leak down? Anyway, how do I repair it or diagnose it? I use the travel chains all the time now.

More than likely, it's the O-rings in the control valve bank. My 480C does the same. Also the out riggers/stabilizers will do the same. It could also be that the cylinders need new packing.
