Yes, mixed as close as he could after the original.
Old truckers here says that Dodge was expensive, but that you needed 2 Fords or Chevys to outlast one Dodge!

Very, very nice! I really like old trucks. I have a 1949 Ford F6 that the boys and I will tear into this fall. It should be an easy restore, it has 12,000 original miles, but the last 15 years it's been outside, (minor rust issues on the front fenders).

Yes some of the old dodges were like tanks. back in '45 they really made 'em good . I don't see any of the trucks made today lasting that long .
