Some time ago in another TBN thread I ventured an opinion on a vintage tractor with a good engine, I think it was an 8N, that I said was worth $500-600. Someone, who apparently knows a lot more about tractor haggling than I, responded and told me that any tractor that's running is worth at least $700. So I suppose, with a stuck engine, that "G" you're looking at is worth $700 tops, if you buy into this line of reasoning.
DavesTractor said:Flusher, that might be good logic, and I was thinking along the same lines as far as value, but the "G" is a very unique machine. This makes it desirable if it is real complete and straight, which this one is. Fairly worthless by modern standards, but very high in the "what the heck is that" category. I could put a belly blade on one and use it to grade the lot, giving it some real usefulness.
