Tires 1802 needs front turf tires

I have nice Firestone turf tires on the rear of my YM1802 but the front 3 rib tires really mess up my yard. I would like to get a set of turf tires for the front. My tires are 4.00-12. Since I am 2wd I would like to put larger tires/wheels on front if possible and if I can find some. I want tires as heavy duty as possible. Does anyone have any info on where I might find some wheels or tires and do you know if there are larger Yanmar wheels that will bolt right on?

Not sure if it would work, but firestone does have a 600 x 12 tire that might work. Probably requires too wide of a rim though. On personal side, I have a ym2000 which originally came with 400 x 15's. I needed new fronts and was able to put on 500 x 15's 5 rib implement tires like these and have had no problems. I also have th qt1846 loader. My new tires come close to hitting the frame but clear ok. You may want to keep that in mind if moving up to larger rims/tires. Good luck in your search.
