I bought the push pull hydraulic hose couplings at Tractor Supply to use for my fron hydraulic connection.
Tractor Supply Quick Connector I am not sure if these will fit into the Kubota cast housing.
Here is the Breakaway Clamp used for the connector linked above..

Do I understand correctly that the Kubota quick couplers are supposed to hold until a certain amount of pull is placed on them and then let go, to protect the hoses?

That is not my experience. The rear bypass hose on my old BX2200 caught on the 3PH arm during the winter when I was raising the back blade removing snow in the dark. It broke a weld and ripped the hose apart leaving me stuck in the middle of a snow and hydro covered driveway. It wasn't pretty.....

I've long wondered whether any of them would self release, without damage Maybe the engineers haven't figured it out.

Well, it shouldn't be hard to test them, just give the hose a yank and see if comes apart??

If pulled straight out the couplers on my M6800 release without having to move anything. Just grab the hose and pull. If they get caught and are pulled sideways or down the fitting breaks.

I broke one on my M6800. The coupler on it has a fitting between it & the valve. The coupler doesn't screw directly into the valve...

I just now walked by the broken fitting laying on my bench and remembered your post. I got a wrench and clamped the coupler in the vice. By God you're right, it will come apart! Now I'm thinking of having my buddy just weld it back together.

BTW... The coupler is made by FASTER, I can not find an exact match to the model numbers, listed below, anywhere online.

The larger of the two pieces has "3CFPV...F-09L0" stamped into it.
