When the dealer delivered our M9540 and batwing, he apparently didn't connect the lines properly. It didn't take long for one to come loose and get chopped up by the Bush Hog :(

I don't trust the hitch pin on the drawbar, I've lost the clip pin a few times in heavy grass. I've added a heavy safety chain in case it comes loose. With our steep hills, I'm afraid that if it comes loose, it will take off to parts unknown.

I bet your hoses were too short and they pulled out while turning.

I'll be putting a bolt with a lock nut in place of a hitch pin next time.

Lesson learned.

Kubota quick coupler - $70, not in stock.
Hydraulic hose with ends - $100, after $25 off.

I broke one on my M6800. The coupler on it has a fitting between it & the valve. The coupler doesn't screw dorectly into the valve. Anyway the fitting was $40 & a special order item from Kubota. l took the broken fitting to a hydraulic shop & got the same thing for $12. No coupler needed. The valve in your pocture looks the same as the valve on my M6800.

Sorry, somehow I over looked your question.
No the fittings are all the same, just the coupler is different.

I do that....PLUS a safety chain.

Are you referring to the quick disconnect couplings?... if so...unless I'm ignorant of the fact (quite possible)...all the qd's I have seen will not disengage themselves under tension without moving the slip ring...?

The qd coupling on my AC didn't disengage when the turn plow let go of the clevis. The hose stretched a fair distance before before I could stop. Another time, the elbo broke saving a more expensive repair.
