I'm looking into a new 1635 with a cab and was wondering if the doors can be removed and the back glass opened or removed for fresh air when it's not to hot or too cold out. Kinda like a Jeep.

Yes but it's probably easier to turn the air on. Taking the doors and back window off kinda defeats the point of having an enclosed cab. I guess down the road if the a/c quit and you didnt want to fix it you could do it

I agree, turn the A/C on, being dust free is nice too.

The back window folds open, and the side ones pop out.

Thanks. And one more Question......Does the cab make it any more noticeably top heavy?

I never tried a 1635 platform, but from other platform tractors, no, the 1635 cab does not seem top heavy at all.

That's good to know. I've never used a tractor with a cab and I've got some slopes on my property I'll be mowing. Thanks for the information.

Once you go Cab, you'll never go back! Yesterday it was 90F and 90% humidity. Mowing the field was enjoyable because of the cool air blowing on me with the windows closed and the stereo on! The only problem is when I was done, I had to get out.

As for being top heavy, most of the additional weight (350 lbs) is in the glass, but I don't think it changes the CG that much.

Thanks. Just put a deposit down on a new one today........Although the dealer has to find me one. They're scarce. He seemed sure he would though.
He thought I might be happy with the shuttle but I went with the hydro. Hope I didn't choose wrong.

The shuttle is so easy to use, you would be happy!! Less whine in the cab too!!
Worst case scenario, he has to order one. Ours was ordered, wait was worth it.

Get them to add a block heater, well worth it.

If they have a Powershuttle 1600 on the lit, test it out before you decide.
