My friend has this model IH and the year is unknown. Now he has a 5 ft MM mower and wants to change to a Woods RMF(4 ft) Woods states that the PTO has to turn clockwise. The PTO now turns counter clockwise. The present PTO shaft is belt driven by 2 belts from a sheave at the back of the engine. Is there a way to change the present PTO that is turning CCW to CW. Thanks fellows.

I'm not familiar with that unit but if the belts could be replaced with two long enough to twist, the output shaft would then be reversed rotation.

Thanks Bob, I don't know if that can be done because I have not looked at it. I plan on stopping by his place and getting the serial# and then go to the IH dealer tomorrow.
