Using the Knob under the seat for the rate of rise and fall does nothing same for the 3 point lever on the side.

OK got it fixed! The problem was what I suspected in the first place. The 2 male connectors were reversed. I posted a picture of the hoses and the way they were connected. Now the 2 hoses that are not covered (bare) are connected. The one with the hose "sock" has a yellow zip tie, not sure what it means but I do know Mahindra marks lines with color codes. Whoever connected the Backhoe at the Dealer/Factory put the connections backward because this tractor came without the 3 point so it didn't matter. The hose with the female connection comes off the valve block from the front end loader control and is the Power Beyond, the return hose (now that they are switched) goes to the 3 point hookup via the banjo nut as in the previous diagram (Post 16, Line #2). The one with the sock/yellow zip tie goes back to the valve block and stays disconnected.
