1533 noise

Brought home our newly purchased 1533 with FEL.

Runs like a champ, only has 203hrs. I let if run above idle for about 15 min. When I went to check on it, there was like a slight rattle noise, seemed to come from the righ side. As I operated the loader it shuttered a little and the noise got a little more often. Not any louder, but more frequent.

I got it here right after dark and haven't look at it yet. The gentelman who owned it passed away. I asked his son when was it serviced last and he had no idea. I don't think its a serious issue, was wondering where to check the hydrulic fluid as there are no manuals with the tractor.

I've seen other posts about the hydraulic hose clamps on the loader, the ones that secure the metal hose sections to the loader arms, leave a bit of room for rattling. Guys have reported sticking some dampening material (like rubber gasket) in there and it goes away.

Hopefully that's all it is.

My 1533 had a bulletin (not a recall... You have to ask for it) on the hydraulic filter housing and related clamps due to a cavitation issue. Unless you had it dealer serviced the first 2 years you are on your own. The pump would rattle and chirp any time you would idle up and/or use the loader at low rpm. I don't know if this is your issue, just passing it along. Hyd oil level has a sight glass in back near pto.
