Finally got my injector heat shields in the mail. Found these on the net for half the price of Messicks, complete with retro packaging, which I thought was pretty cool. They fit perfect.

Also, received my new hyd hoses for the loader control valve that were leaking. I used surplus center as they were cheaper and better quality than tractor supply. At some point I need to replace all the loader hoses, I think they are originals from 85 or so.

Rebuilt injectors going in with new heat shields and sealing washers. The sealing washers are flat on one side and rounded on the other, put the flat side against the injector.

Injectors installed and torqued to 50 lbs ft. Used soapy water around the injector boss and looked for bubbles while spinning eng over, checked good.

Intake going on with new gaskets, stud, and lock washers.
This is it for tonight.
Fried, I used Oregon fuel injection out of Eugene, OR. It was $250 to have mine rebuilt. It depends on the condition of your injectors and what parts need replacing, so the price could be more or less. Just make sure you strip the injectors down before sending them, as they lost some of my parts.
Just about ready to make some smoke.
