1508 bush hog

i have a 1508 batwing bush hog need whole main gearbox i have tred to rebuild and cant get the backlash set right so i am going this route.

When you see the cost of these, you may want to rethink the shimms part of it... Its a 10, 2, 6 o'clock shaft orientation?

What's the problem with the rebuild? (pictures are good).
