135Massey Ferguson woes

My son changed the fuel filters on my 135 MF tractor. The tractor was running fine we just wanted to put new filters on and stop a few fuel leaks. He changed the fuel lifter pump and bled all the lines . We have gotten fuel to the main injector pump., but the tractor will not start. We tried to pull it off to start it. What else can we try to get it started? I was reading another post about the fuel cut off lever on the injector pump. I too am leaking fuel at the connection. Is there a way to repair this without taking the fuel injector pump off the tractor? Help it is almost time to start mowing hay!!!

No matter how well I bled the lines on my MF135 diesel it would never start until I cracked loose one of the injectors. I had to remove the fuel tank to do this. Needless to say I didn't let it run out of fuel very often.
