1250 cub cadet
I have a 1250 cub cadet and will run a couple minutes and seems like it builds hydro pressure then stops and kills engine. I have checked relief valves and they appear to be working fine, not sure what else to do. I would like to fix if it is worth it. Engine runs great. I have never had a hydro so not sure about it.
Any help appreciated thanks!!

Are you sure that hydraulic pressure is killing it or is it possibly being starved for fuel? Try removing the air cleaner and when it starts to die spray some starting fluid into the carb. If it catches and speeds up you'll know it's a fuel problem. Sediment in the tank, rotten or collapsed fuel hoses, sticking float valve in carb etc. can all cause problems.

My 1450 did the same. It ended up being the points. Make sure they are good and set at.020 gap.
