I have a 1220 cadet hydro and like many the pump has got very weak so was just wondering what other cadet rear ends will fit this mower if I can find a doner mower to change the whole rear end. would like to keep the hydro but would go to a manual rear end. It is a early production mower and has the eaton pump. Have had the hydro apart and cleaned it good and put new fluid in it but didn't help much if any. There didn't appear to be any wear or damage in the pump was just wondering if the springs could be loosing their tension after they warm up and not forcing the balls out against the race resulting in poor pressure and therefore causing it to be weak. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am a new member here and located in central Kentucky. Thanks folks.
