Thanks for the heads up. mine has a drain hole at the bottom of the bearungs close to the motor so i undid tjose and pumped till old stuff came out..it is signifcantly quoeter in operation now.

Now if anybody knows where i can find a 12 inch polishing wheel i will be all set..all i see are 10 inchers in my kcb book..maybe thats aa big as they get?
