110TLB and LaneShark LS2 question

Does anyone have experience with the LaneShark LS2 skidsteer mount mower? I have front end hydraulics that has run a trencher, sweeper, and snow blower. LaneShark is adamant about the return line go directly to the sump instead of through a valve. I believe this is to prevent sudden stoppage when disengaging. With the proper operation of other front mounted, I feel the LaneShark will work normally without damage to the motor from sudden stoppage. Thoughts?

A lot of high speed rotational mass (weight). Run return line to tank and let it spin down. Trail Blazer One sells 3pt hydro power pack for their mower.
