110hrs and loader is broke

I've got about 110 hours on my NX5010 and something broke in the pump for the loader. I be the loader in float and I went to pop it out which it usually does pretty easily. This time it didn't want to come out. After getting it to come out of float, I had no up or down. I could only curle the bucket. Pulled all the plastic off from around the loader control and one of the two cables had pulled out. It's at the dealer right now. I'll let you know what they come up with. I'll attach some pictures. Anyone else had something similar happen.

That doesn't sound like the pump, that's more like the cables in the control stick broke, or some other mechanical issue with the joystick. Not an uncommon problem. I've always thought the transition could be smoother in and out of the float position. Hydro pump issue you would have hydraulic problems with all movement. This fortunately sounds like a relatively straight forward control cable issue.

I had the same thing happen on my 4510. the dealer replaced the loader control valve assembly, Somehow corrosion got inside and froze up a detent. It was all covered under warranty.

Did you have the cable system? Or the new integrated controller like the newest models.

My cable pulled out just like yours when the detent froze up.

The parts are in and it should be done this week. They haven't told exactly what their fixing/replacing yet. I'll let everyone know when I get it back.

Randylg, yours looks about like mine. Doesn't sound like its a real common problem. Just stinks not having my tractor when I had planned on getting some stuff done.

Got my tractor back today. They figure a detent got stuck in the valve assembly and the loader was stuck in float. You can not replace just piece. They had to replace the loader valve assembly, cables and the loader control.
