1070 john deer

Hi guys i have a 1070 j,d. with about 600 hrs. on it its a 4wd i noticed yesterday that the front left tier has some cracking on the side wall mabe 1/8 inch by a couple of inches the tractor is 14 years old and the tires are orignal they are 8x16 r1 should i replace them or install a tube the tread is about 70 percent left Thanks

Wanna, Tractor tires usually rot out before they wear out. 600 hrs is not many hours in the scheme of things so the tractor has many hrs/yrs left in it and new tires would be a good investment but the cheaper way would be the tubes.
