I just purchased a new 1046 and the first time I used it I noticed a vibrating sound when I move forward. It doesn't do it on level ground but starts it when it gets a strain on it. It sounds like steel vibrating against a washer or spring and it seems to be coming from the cutting deck. I cannot find anything lose on it. I raised the rear wheels off the ground and had someone sit on it and start it but without any strain it would not do it. I have read here that some of these mowers have had problems with pulleys being in need of aligning. My dealer is quite a drive from me so I am hoping someone here has had this problem and knows how to fix it.
Thanks in advance for your comments.

I've heard of the bracket for the trans drive belt tensioner jumping around due to not enough spring tension. Owners have rectified this by adding a stronger spring. I've not heard of this issue in a few years though.
