Snow 1026R Snowblade

   / 1026R Snowblade #11
So its taken awhile to get to this point but, I finally found the answer to my question. My blade from my 445 will fit my 1026R, all I need is the adapter bracket and hose extensions. I have the bracket on order ($62 +tax) so hopefully when I get it all together I can post some pics and part numbers to help everybody out.

Sorry for resurrecting an older thread, but can you (or anyone else) give me any information about this adapter bracket? I have a 425 with 54" blade/quickhitch and would be interested in knowing what it would take to make it work on a 1025R.

My brother in law has one on his 1023. I believe the blade is the same 54D as before. The front hitch bracket looks also to be the same. The adapter you are referring too is also needed with the 1023 to install the front blade. I will post pics when I'm over there later today.

I found the diagram on jdparts with no problem. here it is...
I don't know about the parts in common but seems to me if all other parts are the same you can just replace the part #7 ?? AM132310
really wishing I had negotiated a snowblower with my 2210 when I bought it back in the spring of '04. I don't have a front hitch and never saw one up close except in photos.

Sorry I didn't make over to my brother in laws house to get pics for u. He had the flu and I wanted to stay clear. He's over it now. I'll go over there tomorrow after work and get pictures of the blade and mounting hardware for you. Again sorry for the delay.

I'd had the idea that if I had a front hitch I'd make a front carrier for my 62c deck for mowing out front, which I believe would give great results and make blade maintenance easier. Not sure how well the hitch would hold up to the pounding long term.?
