Mowing 1023E Mower Deck Won't Raise

I was mowing with my dads 6mo old 1023E yesterday and went to raise the mid mount PTO mower deck and it won't raise... I can see the rear 3pt raise up and down but the deck doesn't. I'm unfamiliar with the machine as I have a different brand. It's under warranty, but if possible if there is something captain obvious I'm missing to save a trip to a from the dealer, any input would be appreciated. My dad had mentioned it did it once before, however he was unsure of how it resolved itself lol, he's 82... thanks!

It depends on how the tractor was set up at the dealer .

the lift and lower of the mower may have been set up using the loader valve instead of the three point hitch. try moving the loader joystick left to right.

It was definitely the same as the 3pt lift control, as that's how I lowered it this time and I remember watching my dad now in the past and noticing the 3pt arms raise and lower when he was moving mower deck.

For what it's worth I figured it out. The left rear 3pt arm has a threaded hole a bolt goes thru, that connects to a slotted bracket that is connected to the mower deck. Bolt and washer were hanging there but a spacer and nut are somewhere in the 3acres of grass. Seems like an easy fix when we get the parts.
