John Deere
Purchased a 2011 John Deere 1023e about two months ago. Got the MMM with it because that was my main concern. Since I have 4 acres and will be maintaining it and a barn I think I will need a front end loader also. I called the local dealer and the H120 goes for $3,300.

Any suggestions on a cheaper - non John Deere - alternative I can go with. I would love to go used but am having a hard time finding anything.

Welcome

think the model is too new for after market loaders. Try google with some names like koyker. I think you will find it might be easier and add more value to your tractor to buy the Deere loader.

I think you will want the JD loader. I would suggest having a talk with the dealer and see what kind of discount he might be willing to make. He may have a bit of room to deal if he sees you as a continuing customer.

Non of the aftermarket loaders will be much cheaper. Do as Kenny wrote above, and I think you may be able to add it to your loan if its thru John Deere. Also used loaders are few and far between especially for a new tractor like your 1023.

Oh, and Welcome to TBN :)
