I have three implements with shanks. LPGS - ROBB - single bottom moldboard plow. Strip the plow down - it becomes a single shank ripper with a carbide tooth.
This plow - stripped down - works well for pulling rocks out of the ground. Lower it - go forward and curl the shank under the rock - raise the 3-point. Back up and grab it with the grapple. If it's too big - spin around and get it with the grapple.
