Hi everyone, new to the forum and have a question. I have a X485 that I purchased recently and need new tires. I really like the Carlise Field Trax HD tires. I can get 26x12-12 for the rear, but I can't find a 16x8.50-8 size for the front. There is a 16x8.50-10 size available, which could work if I could find a 10" rim for the 2wd front axle. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Yes. In addition to the 10" rims you also need to purchase the hubs for your front axle. The 10" rims bolt on to the hubs that slide on to the spindle, whereas the 8" rims slide directly on. The later model SE units come equipped with what you want.

I think you mean 18-8.50-10 fronts, right?

Do you have the X495 or X485? Both were mentioned, one must be a typo.

Btw, thanks Xskier for the info. Anyone ever done this?
Also, I mowed today - 50+ degrees in January - can you believe it!
The x495 / 62C / Powerflow works like a dream. Gotta love the diesel!

If you get the 5 hole hubs and 10" rims it will look just like my X720SE.

Yup, that is just the look I want! I'll have HDAP's front and rear.

Just gotta get part numbers for the rims and hubs. The JD site is so difficult to find parts.

Just call a JD dealer and they can get them to you in a second. Just tell them you want the hubs and caps for a X720SE.

Make sure you post some pics of it when your done!!!

He is correct, but to give you an idea of cost:
M144698-Bolt, Wheel, Qty 10-$11.40
AM140109-Hub and flange assembly Qty 2-$189.28
M150676- wheel, 10x6, spl ed-Qty 2-Qty 2-$144.88
Total Cost without tires- $345.56

If you do not want the mismatched wheels, the rear SE wheels will have to be ordered. I think they cost about $205.00 for a pair. I'm guessing the total cost would be around $1000.00 with tires, just a guess, though. The rear tires M156433 HDAP are $384.80 through a dealer. I'm having trouble finding the front HDAPs
