Planters 1 row planter

My neighbor has a 1 row Allis Chalmers planter with a cat, 1 3ph. He asked me to make an offer on it. The planter is weathered but some paint would fix that. It is in good working condition and he has a corn and bean plate for it. What would be a fair price for it?

How much use do you have for one. I always figured the only reason I purchased something is if I need it and if I need it how much good would it do? I purchased a two row deere last spring for 350 all restored. Hope that helps.

I have a one row planter that was built from a big AC planter. I paid $250.00 for it this last spring.

This planter has been built from a big one. I will be planting sweet corn with it mostly and maybe a few spots in the field where the big planter quit or skipped.

My wife has one for her vegetable garden, has all the bells and whistles and eleventy seven seed plates. Opens the ground, drops in the seed, and coveres it. The only thing I don't like about it is she makes me push it. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
