I am still shopping for a new tractor. I have found a leftover new '06 BX2350 at a really good price. Are there any substantial differences between the '06 and '08 models? I have looked at an '08 2350 and was wondering if there have been any major changes in the last two years.

There are several threads devoted to the things that have been "fixed" since the '06 introduction. You shouldn't have any problems as long as you have the:
--new seat
--new gauges
--metal brace under operator's platform
--new knob kit
I think that's it, but others will speak up if I've left anything out.

Other than these 'teething' issues, there are no substantial changes between the '06 and '08 other than they are now coming with METAL operator's platforms and plastic fenders rather than all plastic. But if you have the metal braces underneath, it should never give you any problems.

I think all had the metal operator's platform. At least my BX24 does and it's over 2 years old. The other fixes were covered by warranty and have worked out just fine. I don't think tractors are normally sold as year models ie: 2006, 2008 like cars, just as model designations such as BX24D.
The other "fix" I can think of involved a poor fitting screen frame just in front of the operator's platform. The fix took about 5 minutes.
