05 4310 won't go in to gear

Hello, I'm experiencing Interment problem with power reverse not engaging .part #LAV10881 took it apart cleaned connections everything looks good reinstalled no go . Looked for bad wires, connections all looks good . code reads one long ,one short followed by six more short ones. Tried it again and it's now working I need to resolve this issue .I've researched for the codes on line no help there just rabbit trails, manual is no help .Anyone got any clues ? It must be the part or an electronic issue before I drop $225 on the part I was wondering if anyone has experienced this Issue Thank you

I don’t know if you ever got this figured out. I had same problem, found a push button that is pressed when the clutch is pressed in. The part was bad. Super easy to replace. Cost about $20.
