Hi all,
I heard that JD is now offering 0% for 48 mos. on their 2000, 3000 & 4000 series utility tractors. It only shows 0 for 36 mos on the Deere website. Does anyone know anything about this?

Man, that would be great.

Polaris has 3.99% for 84 months.

With the economy slipping, I suspect we will see some smoking deals.

Just talked to the co-owner/salesman at my local dealer and he said there is 0% for 36 on 2000 up to 4000 series and 0% for 42 on 3000 and 4000 series. Also a 1.? % for 60 on 3000 and 4000 series. No 0% for 48 on 2000 series.

That is correct, I just got home from a local dealer and your numbers are exact what I was told. The 60mo is 1.9% I know used it and bought a 3320 today!! woohoo

I guess it varies from area to area. I received an email from a salesman today that said the 2000 series are still 0%/36 and the 3000 series are 0%/48 mos. I think this is only good until 4/30.
He didn't mention the 1.9% for 60 mos.

I can't make up my mind; 2520 or 3320.

Yea we will. For March only Case is running 0% for 60 months ans MF is running 0% for 72. I dont think it'll belong before JD jumps out there.

My dealer close to me here in Ohio informed me on Saturday that the 4000 series tractor had 0% for 48 months available through the end of April or I could take $400 in cash if I went with 0% for 36 months.

0% for 48 should be available in some regions but it is a dealer buy-down program...still great rates, good time to buy!

I went to dealer today and priced a 2520. he quoted me a 1.85% buy down for 0% x 36 months on financed amount. If my math is correct that works out to a 0.01% rate. Kind of misleading if they are advertising it as a 0%, but still cheap.

I wonder how low things are going to get... I still need to buy a disc mower, maybe I will get lucky.

Down here in La. my dealer only has 0 for 36...he hasn't heard anything regarding 1.9 for 60 or 0 for 48.

I can afford to wait......I might be better off waiting for better financing.

There ya go - I bet we see a lot of "cheap money" on a lot of things.

These rate quotes are looking really great. Hopefully it means I can get a little more tractor that I thought I could afford.

I'll be talking to my JD guy asap to see if they are here in ONT Canada too.

Hooray.

Just spoke with my local dealer and he was also aware of the dealer buydown option on 5000 series tractors - 0% for 48 and 1.9% for 60. I was ready to head down there and order until he informed me the store just finalized a buyout agreement and I should wait until the paperwork settles in April which should allow for better pricing. I guess they'll now be part of a 9 store chain here in Oklahoma.

I don't think that math is right... But, anyway, ask your dealer to quote his best price for CASH. Then, you will know how much the financing really costs. It's not likely to be near 0%.

'08 5103 w/ 1072 cutter.

The other dealer around the corner from my office has 1 on the lot (his location is also part of the buyout). I'm heading there in about 30 minutes to see what they'll do on price, I've been waiting this out for the last 3 months and I'm itching :D

dealer showed me his finance screen and it is costing him 0.5% charge for for my 0% x 36 months.
He is still making 1.35% on amount financed ($135.00/10,000)
