I went to dealer today and priced a 2520. he quoted me a 1.85% buy down for 0% x 36 months on financed amount. If my math is correct that works out to a 0.01% rate. Kind of misleading if they are advertising it as a 0%, but still cheap.

I wonder how low things are going to get... I still need to buy a disc mower, maybe I will get lucky.

Down here in La. my dealer only has 0 for 36...he hasn't heard anything regarding 1.9 for 60 or 0 for 48.

I can afford to wait......I might be better off waiting for better financing.

There ya go - I bet we see a lot of "cheap money" on a lot of things.

These rate quotes are looking really great. Hopefully it means I can get a little more tractor that I thought I could afford.

I'll be talking to my JD guy asap to see if they are here in ONT Canada too.

Hooray.

Just spoke with my local dealer and he was also aware of the dealer buydown option on 5000 series tractors - 0% for 48 and 1.9% for 60. I was ready to head down there and order until he informed me the store just finalized a buyout agreement and I should wait until the paperwork settles in April which should allow for better pricing. I guess they'll now be part of a 9 store chain here in Oklahoma.

I don't think that math is right... But, anyway, ask your dealer to quote his best price for CASH. Then, you will know how much the financing really costs. It's not likely to be near 0%.

'08 5103 w/ 1072 cutter.

The other dealer around the corner from my office has 1 on the lot (his location is also part of the buyout). I'm heading there in about 30 minutes to see what they'll do on price, I've been waiting this out for the last 3 months and I'm itching :D

dealer showed me his finance screen and it is costing him 0.5% charge for for my 0% x 36 months.
He is still making 1.35% on amount financed ($135.00/10,000)
